End of Life Care

Palliative and End of Life Care incorporates all the elements of the daily life of the person at this time. This includes the range of personal care: washing and bathing, mouth care, continence care, nutrition and hydration, and aspects of domestic chores. Plus, the all-important social and cultural sides with their friends and loved ones.

 

 

Working with people, their family and friends at this difficult time requires sensitive support, including effective communication, empathy and an understanding of the needs of the people being cared for and the emotional expectations of their family members and friends and we fully recognise these. Our staff are trained for these issues and have built up years of experience. Our services ensure that expectations are met through providing careful observation, monitoring and appropriate feedback.
