Carlene House - Community Support Services
About us
As a part of our service, we also provide a Community Support Service (Day Care Service). We are situated at St. Swithun's Church Hall in Purley, close to local amenities and easily accessible by public transport. Due to Covid-19 restrictions, these services are paused and will be restarted when it is safe to do so and after a full risk assessment has been carried through.
We have the capacity to provide day services to people from Monday to Friday and sessions are available daily, from 9:30am to 3:00pm.
Our daytime Community Support Centre offers a range of exciting and interesting courses to adults with learning disabilities. These are regularly reviewed to suit the individual’s choices and needs. We promote self-worth, independence, satisfaction and fulfilment within our service. Our Lead Activity Coordinator and the team, have extensive experience in this field and specialise in organising and delivering activities adapting to the changing needs of attendees over time.
